Eugenia Pilates was suggested to Eugenia by her chiropractor is 2000. After many years of dancing and teaching aerobics her back was in bad shape and Pilates was magical for her and before long she was completely out of pain! She had such a passion for pilates that she began her teacher training in 2002 with Jennifer Kries in NYC and continued onto the Physical Mind Institute and Body Precision in Rosemont Pa; where she received her full mat/apparatus certification. Eugenia first taught at Pilates Plus in 2002 until Nov of 2005 when she left Rochester to pursue a dream of teaching on the island of St. Martin in the Caribbean. She had a pilates studio at La Samanna Hotel; a 5 star hotel on the French side of the island. Her clients were from all over the world; as well as clients that lived on the island. She taught men, women and children from all walks of life and ages not to mention Tyra Banks, Salma Hayek and Allegra Versace who were a few of her famous clients. She has taught clients with hip & knee replacements, cancer survivors and those with neck & back injuries; because of pilates her clients lives were changed. "Teaching pilates is my way of giving back. Pilates has enriched my life in ways I never knew possible. I am happy to be back in Rochester and teaching at Pilates Plus once again……there’s no place like home!!!!!!".

Julie started taking Pilates at Pilates Plus in 2007 and was quickly addicted to the constant challenge of the practice. No matter how long you do Pilates, it never gets easy which is what makes it beautiful.  During the summer of 2008 Julie starting training for full mat certification and is nearing completion of Jodi's intensive training.  Julie is also currently working on her PhD at the University of Rochester in biochemistry and genetics.  When she is not in the lab or at the studio, she is playing outside.  She is an active rock climber.  She also enjoys ice climbing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, kayaking, trail running, camping, and just enjoying nature in general.

Mary has been teaching Yoga at Pilates Plus for over 6 years.  She became inspired to teach yoga after developing her own practice and became certified to teach through Yoga Fit.  Her training has included Yoga Fit levels I and II in addition of completion of Anusara Yoga training workshops with Mitchel Bleier and Baptise Power Vinyasa Yoga workshops with Baron Baptiste.  Mary is a full time resource teacher for grades 7-12 in the Rochester City School District and enjoys shopping, hiking, biking and traveling in her spare time.

Kyleigh began practicing Pilates in 2011 after graduating from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.  From HWS, she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Cum Laude recognition, in Media & Society.  The mind-body connection associated with the Pilates method resonated with Kyleigh and inspired her to make the commitment to the Teacher Education Program at Pilates Plus. Kyleigh received her Levels I-III Certification in the summer of 2012 and continues her training for Levels IV and V Certification.  Kyleigh’s “Aha Moment” occurred when she understood the significance of relying on her “powerhouse” both inside and outside of the studio. Kyleigh has overcome life- long postural challenges through pilates practice and is a believer in Joseph Pilates premise that “ in ten sessions you feel better, in 20 sessions you will look better and in 30 sessions you will have a completely new body.”  Kyleigh loves seeing how Pilates brings her clients joy as they gain awareness of their bodies and experience the grace, energy and vitality that is transformative through pilates practice.
