GyroMovement

About GyroMovement

The GyroMovement techniqui combines the key principles of pilates, gymnastics, swimming, ballet and yoga. It uses specially designed exercise equipment to simultaneously stretch and strengthen the body with minimal effort, while increasing range of motion and developing coordination. The GyroMovement technique pays special attention to the functional capacity of the spine, resulting in a superior and well-proportioned body that is significantly less prone to injury.

Gyrotonic

The motion patterns of GyroMovement are natural and turbulence-free. The exercises provide the same pleasurable, healthy resistance of water, but with maximum adjustability of range of motion and control of position. Each exercise is synchronized with a corresponding breathing pattern and is performed with either a rhythm or melodic rhythmical expression, creating a gentle or vigorous cardiovascular-aerobic stimulation, depending on the level of execution.

Why you should try GyroMovement

It's a great way to increase coordination, strength, flexibility and proprioception. GyroMovement helps your body synergize your muscle groups for well-rounded, lasting fitness. Because it improves stability and flexibility as it builds strength, GyroMovement is an excellent technique for athletes in all sports. It's also excellent for people with back problems because the spherical exercise motions improve posture and strength while relieving back pain.
