  GROUP CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


Beginning Pilates Mat
Basic Pilates principles of abdominal control, breathing, concentration, centering, precision, posture and basic body awareness.

Open Pilates Mat
For all Pilates students experienced enough to exercise body control. The pace is more dynamic than the Beginner level, and the emphasis is on fluidity of movement.

Pilates and Body Rolling
This class will help participants free the lines of energy necessary to help master the fundamentals of Pilates exercises. Areas of the spine that lack articulation and movement which limit core strength will be addressed. This class will give you the necessary tools for unwinding and freeing the body to access deeper levels of core strength and stability.

Corefluid Fusion
Pilates infused transformational fitness experience that allows you to work from inside the body to out. Will give you washboard abs, a tighter behind and an amazingly well toned body.

Yoga Stretch
An introduction to basic yoga poses incorporating Vinyasa style movement. This class will get you moving while building incredible strength and flexibility. A great introduction to mind/body awareness.

Open Flow Yoga
Experience traditional yoga poses intertwined in heat building Sun Salutations. A fitness style of yoga that will keep you moving while building strength and flexibility.

Yogalates
A fusion class combining Pilates mat exercises and the fundamentals of yoga poses. Designed to build strength and flexibility, improve balance and alignment while toning target areas including: abdominals, lower back, thighs and buttocks.

TriXter® Cycling
This Ultimate cycling class combines handlebar movement from side to side to build biceps, triceps, & work your core, while the changing of the gears & seated & standing methods of cycling works your legs giving you a full cardio workout. Outdoor attitude brought indoors. Bring water & a towel to class.

Zumba®
Zumba® combines Latin rhythms with easy to follow dance moves that are good for any fitness level or age. Fast and slow rhythms allow for a body-energizing and calorie-burning workout that is so much fun you won’t realize you are getting a workout! Please wear Zumba® shoes or worn-down sneakers and bring water to class

Hula Hooping
In our hooping class you will find a workout that is challenging in a new way. It combines cardio and fun while throwing in some laughter and good music. Less formal that your traditional fitness class but as challenging and as invigorating as any!

Standing Pilates and Barre
Standing Pilates & Barre combines classical ballet movements that are done at the Barre along with adaptations of many traditional Pilates mat exercises that have been taken into a vertical plane helping to create a lean, firm and sculpted body. It teaches the mind & body to re-pattern movement habits toward better alignment & efficiency.

Reformer ROC's
Combination of reformer, cardio, & strength training set to music. The exercises include traditional reformer exercises as well as popular fitness moves such as lunges, squats, dips and push ups. The reformer revitalizes such fitness-based exercises as it demands an extra dimension of balance and core control. Registration will be required. 6 person limit per class.

Pilates Stick
Challenge your Pilates workouts with this innovative and unique body sculpting system . In a small group format you will experience many of the traditional Pilates exercises along with other functional fitness moves for a balanced and complete workout. A good understanding of Pilates mat will be helpful in this class, please see an instructor if you do not. Registration will be required. 6 person limit per class.
